Skid Row Housing Trust is celebrating 29 years of accomplishment in ending homelessness through providing homes and support to some of the community’s most vulnerable men and women. In 2017 we created a signature event that highlights our Downtown LA roots and celebrates visionary leaders who have created and invested in evidence-based solutions to homelessness. Guests will enjoy a festive evening featuring live musical performances in an industrial warehouse that has been renovated into a brewery, taproom, and event space in Downtown LA’s Little Tokyo neighborhood. We have reinvented the traditional event formula to create a fun, impactful evening that our guests will look forward to the entire year. We want you networking, socializing, dancing, and most important supporting vital efforts to end homelessness for good.
Founded in 1989, Skid Row Housing Trust develops and operate permanent supportive housing so that individuals who have experienced homelessness, prolonged extreme poverty, poor health, disabilities, mental illness and/or addiction can lead safe, stable lives in wellness. Our 26 properties throughout the City of Los Angeles offer over 1,800 beautiful, safe, and affordable apartment homes and comprehensive on-site services to individuals once thought “beyond reach.” Our model has been recognized nationally, including by the National Governors Association, as a best practice for communities looking to decrease homelessness, improve health outcomes, and reduce costs.
