Event Overview

2017 Trust In Sound at the The Regent Theater

Last year, Skid Row Housing Trust created a signature event that highlights our Downtown LA roots and our mission to break the cycle of homelessness for thousands of our homeless neighbors. Guests will enjoy a festive evening featuring live music by Miles Mosley & The West Coast Get Down in an industrial warehouse that has been renovated into a brewery, taproom, and event space in Downtown LA’s Little Tokyo. We have reinvented the traditional fundraising event to create a fun, impactful evening. We want you networking, socializing, dancing and, most important, supporting vital efforts to end homelessness.

Beneficiary

Founded in 1989, Skid Row Housing Trust develops and operate permanent supportive housing so that individuals who have experienced homelessness, prolonged extreme poverty, poor health, disabilities, mental illness and/or addiction can lead safe, stable lives in wellness. Our 26 properties throughout the City of Los Angeles offer over 1,800 beautiful, safe, and affordable apartment homes and comprehensive on-site services to individuals once thought “beyond reach.” Our model has been recognized nationally, including by the National Governors Association, as a best practice for communities looking to decrease homelessness, improve health outcomes, and reduce costs.
