The Trust ends homeless by providing homes that are affordable coupled with the help needed to permanently break the cycle of homelessness. Our residents come to us often grappling with substance abuse, mental illness and complex co-occurring disorders and have experienced years and sometimes decades of homelessness.
The Trust currently manages and operates 24 buildings of Permanent Supportive Housing for formerly homeless individuals in the Los Angeles area. We also have several building projects in the works, including two outside of downtown Los Angeles for homeless veterans.

Building community through evidence-based practices has earned the Trust a reputation as a best practice organization on the cutting edge of both housing development and supportive services. The Trust’s approach to permanent supportive housing has altered the way homeless agencies provide services on local and national levels.
Established in 1995, the SRHT Property Management Company was formed to provide well run homes that would also meet the needs of formerly homeless men and women. The Trust provides a unique model where property management staff collaborate with supportive services staff to work together toward the common goal of resident housing stability.
